10 Spring Home Essentials for a Fresh Reset
There’s something about spring that makes me want to open all the windows, let the light in and give the house a bit of a reset.
Over time I’ve found it’s the simple, everyday pieces that make the biggest difference. These are the home essentials I reach for each spring to freshen things up and make our home feel cosy and ready for the new season.
Spring flowers
I love having fresh flowers in the house, especially in spring, but constantly replacing them can get expensive.
These artificial tulips give the same seasonal feel and look surprisingly realistic. The best part is they last year after year.
Pastel plant pot
I’ve been loving soft pastel touches this spring, and this lilac plant pot is such an easy way to freshen up a space. The ribbed design makes it feel a bit more elevated than a basic pot, and it instantly makes even the simplest houseplant look styled.
Fresh indoor doormat
Sometimes it’s the smallest changes that make the biggest difference. A fresh, new doormat instantly makes your entrance feel cleaner and more put together. I love a neutral, low-profile style that traps dirt properly but still looks tidy.
Steam mop
A good steam mop is an essential for spring cleaning. This Shark one heats up quickly and makes hard floors feel properly clean without loads of product. It’s also lightweight and easy to manoeuvre.
A lightweight throw
Put the heavy knits away, Spring is here! This colourful throw works well all year, adding colour and interest to the living room or bedroom.
Glass storage jars
I bought these to make the kitchen and cupboards feel a bit more organised and they’re airtight so everything stays fresh.
Woven blanket basket
I already have a similar wicker hamper and it’s one of those pieces that just makes a room feel calmer and more put together. It’s sturdy, spacious and actually hides the everyday mess (toys, blankets, laundry…) while still looking lovely.
Sink organiser
I didn’t realise how much I needed this until I got it. It keeps the sponge, cloth and brush in one neat place instead of scattered around the sink and the removable drip tray means no more soggy mess underneath.
Stylish shelf brackets
I put these gold fan-shaped shelf brackets up in my daughter’s room and they instantly made the space feel more styled.
The soft gold finish adds a fresh, light warmth for spring, while the solid, sturdy design makes them perfect for styling books, prints and favourite keepsakes
Fresh scented candle
This NEOM Happiness candle has a fresh, citrusy scent that instantly lifts a room and makes the house feel clean, calm and ready for spring. It also comes in a smaller travel-size version, perfect for bedrooms or gifting.
