Hair and Beauty Picks I Swear By
I’m a firm believer that when you find a product that works, you don’t mess with it. These are the hair and beauty products I stick to because they never let me down.
L’Oreal Absolut Repair Oil
My hairdresser introduced me to this and I’ve stuck with it ever since. It instantly makes my hair feel smoother, softer and healthier without weighing it down. I use it on damp hair and again on the ends once it’s dry for extra shine.
L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.ART Flex Pli
I use this on damp hair before styling and it acts like a lightweight hairspray that actually holds without stiffness. It doesn’t leave any residue, helps my hair keep its style, and gives a really nice finish (which is ideal for my fine hair).
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
Without doubt, this is the best foundation I’ve used. It gives a flawless finish and genuinely stays in place all day and night. It sets quite quickly, so I find applying it with a sponge works best for an even, seamless finish.
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
I’ve been using this for years and it’s never disappointed me. It blends foundation seamlessly, gives a natural, dewy finish, and never leaves my makeup looking streaky or heavy. The shape is ideal for getting into all the angles of the face for an even, flawless result.
CeraVe Moisturiser with Hyaluronic Acid
I have dry skin and I’ve used far more premium moisturisers in the past, but none of them have tackled dry patches the way this does. It’s rich without feeling heavy, absorbs well and sits nicely under my foundation.
Redken Extreme Shampoo & Conditioner
I’ve been using this shampoo and conditioner for years. The conditioner is lightweight, which is perfect for my fine, bleached hair as it doesn’t leave any greasy residue. I can always tell when I’ve used something else because my hair just doesn’t look as good.
Carmex Lip Balm
I always carry a lip balm with me, especially in the colder months. The Carmex one gives a really nice subtle sheen without feeling heavy or sticky.
