Amazon home upgrades I didn’t expect to love
Some of my favourite home finds are the pieces I use every single day – the ones that quietly make life easier, cosier, and more enjoyable.
Battery operated wall lights
I bought these on a bit of a whim and didn’t expect much, but the light is soft and warm, and because they’re battery powered you can stick them anywhere without wiring or drilling.
Neom Reed Diffuser – Real Luxury
I got one of these for my birthday and love it. Unlike other reed diffusers, they make the whole room smell amazing, not just when you walk past. They last a while so although a bit more expensive, they are definitely worth it.
furn. Double sided woven throw
This is the Maisie Throw in Citrus Blush. Super soft, large and warm – it works well all year round and instantly adds more interest to the room.
Quirky wall mirror
This lives at the bottom of the stairs by the front door and looks a bit more interesting than a standard round or rectangular mirror.
Under sink storage
Storage space is at a premium in my house so this was a welcome addition to my cupboard. It uses suction cups to stay secure so you can slide the top and bottom trays out.
Hetty Hoover
I love my Hetty Hoover. I’ve had mine for 10 years without any issue and it’s still as powerful today as it was when I bought it. Make sure to always use a bag and change when full. Highly recommend.
Ninja Foodi StaySharp Knife Block – 5 piece
These were well worth the investment. They’re razor sharp, look tidy on the sideboard and the built in knife sharpener is so easy to use.
Quirky door sign
This is one of those small details that doesn’t cost much, but adds personality straight away and it always makes me smile.
